incroyablé!

i love outdoor work. i just LOVE IT. it makes me so excited to see art just given to the world!

above is a picture of an installation by Claude Cormier to celebrate the inaugural year of the Arts Le Havre Biennale d’Art Contemporain. the Montréal-based landscape architect and urban designer made this gorgeous tribute to one of the world’s most famous painters - Le Havre’s own Claude Monet. the piece, comprised of 90,000 (!!!) tiny fuscia, red, and blue balls are supposed to mimic the colors used in Monet's many paintings of wisteria.

IT'S SO PERFECT. i basically want to live in What Dream May Come. thank you Claude for getting the wheels in motion. kiss kiss.
